looking for musical instruments

I am trying to locate some type of musical instrument for my boyfriend's 19 year old son who has CP.  He is in a wheelchair and has use of his left hand only.  He loves music and I would like to open up another area of interest for him through a musical instrument.  I was thinking of some type of guitar, or piano/organ that he could possibly use.  Of course I really dont know where to go to even begin to look for such a thing and since he is a beginner, I am looking for something reasonably priced until he determines if he is really interested.

If anyone can offer any assistance or suggestions on where to go or what would be the best type of instrument for his special needs,  I would be very grateful.
Thanking you in advance!

Re: looking for musical instruments

I did some research but I really must say there is little to no information in general on this.

I came across this article though. Found it to be somewhat similar and could perhaps be of value.

Hope it helps.
